Getting To Know Your Camera

In this two (2) hour workshop, we will explore the basics of your camera, the most common shooting modes, and then explore the preset scene modes.

Fundamentals of Photography 101

This is a three (3) hour in classroom basic workshop followed by an optional two (2) hour in the field hands-on training exercises. We will cover the manual operation of the more sophisticated point-and-shoot camera or dSLR (digital Single Lens Reflex). Also covered are the basics of composition so that in no time you will be "Taking Better Pictures!"

Basic Lighting 101 - A Balancing Act

This three (3) hour classroom workshop will cover the basic principles of light in general and the combining strobe with natural lighting. The focus of this workshop will be lighting for portraiture and the basic principles. We will cover the use of one strobe mixed with natural lighting-quality of light, bare lighting, reflected lighting, and diffused lighting.

Reserve Your Time In The Studio

We are offering STUDIO TIME by reservation in the studio/gallery to photograph either Portraiture or Table-Top photography! Book your time either privately, semi-private or in a small group. (3- Person Maximum)

Specialty Workshops Both In Studio And On Location

These half and full-day workshops will be tailored to the intermediate photographer. Most of the workshops will require the photographer to be familiar with the manual operation of their camera and familiar with lighting. We will be using ambient lighting along with the use of additional lighting sources both incandescent and flash.
